Nepal is the home of Mt. Everest and birth place of Enlightened Buddha, located between two big Asian countries – India and China. The Himalaya being the center of ancient oriental civilization, Nepal is also very rich in culture and arts with unique social customs and traditions among more than 100 multi-ethnic groups. The cultural and geographic diversity of Nepal provides the ample space for a variety of cuisines based on ethnicity, soil, and climate. The rich cultural heritage of Nepal has evolved over the centuries. This multi – dimensional cultural heritage encompasses within itself of a wide cultural diversities of various ethnic, tribal, social groups inhabiting at great altitude variance from 70 m. to 8848 m. Representing unique forms of foods and drinks; festivals and celebration; music and dance; art and craft; folklore and folktales; languages and literatures; philosophy and religion.

Yak the Kathmandu Kitchen will serve delicious culturally rich authentic foods from Himalayan region which includes Nepali, Indian, Tibetan, and Bhutanese dishes at great ambiance with warm hospitality. Our food is cooked in traditional Nepali style with Nepali masala, which is mixture of many spices and herbs from the Himalayan Mountains.

Our cook is highly skilled and specialized in cooking traditional authentic delicious Nepali Indian food for more than 15 years of experience. Our goal is to satisfy our customer (guest) with excellent service with (serving) fresh and quality (healthy) food. We make sure every guest will enjoy delicious authentic Nepali and Indian dishes at homely environment.
